Welcome to my website. My name is Art Pedersen. I'm a real estate broker affiliated with Lake Country Realty on beautiful Lake Gaston in North Carolina.
My wife, Ceal, and I discovered Lake Gaston in 1996 after an extensive search of lakes in the mid-south. We were ready to retire and the thought of spending 6-8 months cooped up in the winter months in the Northeast didn't appeal to us. The scenic beauty and mild climate of Lake Gaston and its proximity to doctors, hospitals, shopping and restaurants and all the necessities of life (i.e. golf), convinced us to buy property here. We did not find that combination of scenic beauty, proximity to amenities, no water-level draw down, and large size lake, any place else we looked.

    As a Lake Gaston full time resident, I have an intimate knowledge of the many areas and properties around the 350 miles of shoreline of Lake Gaston. Our real estate agency has over 25 years experience in making our customer's selection and purchase of lake property as easy as possible.

Please note on the "SEARCH LISTINGS" page, under the "AREA" category, scrolling down you'll find areas called "Lake Gaston-Southeast quad"(for quadrant), etc. For reference purposes we divide the lake, which runs in an east-west direction, into four quadrants with the center being the causeway/bridge which crosses the lake near it's mid-point. You can search the 'quads' separately, or by holding down a left 'click' and 'running over' all four 'quads', your search will include all listings on the lake.
